Netball is faster, more physical, and more demanding than ever. Our Strength, Power & Agility Program is designed specifically for netball athletes who want to improve their explosiveness, movement efficiency, and on-court performance — safely and progressively.

We don’t train you like a general gym member.
We train you like a netballer.


PROGRAM OVERVIEW 

1. Purpose-Built Netball Athletic Development

This program targets the key physical qualities essential to netball success:

  • Strength for body control, stability, and contesting

  • Power for explosive take-off, elevation, and quick directional change

  • Agility for fast footwork, recovery speed, and reactive movement

  • Speed for breaking free, chasing down, and gaining advantage

  • Injury prevention through balanced strength and movement efficiency

Every session is tailored to netball’s unique movement patterns — not general fitness.


2. What Athletes Will Develop

✔ Strength

Strong, stable athletes are harder to knock off the ball and more confident in contest.
We build:

  • Lower body strength for jumping, landing and driving

  • Core strength for balance and body control

  • Upper body strength for holds, contests and passing power

✔ Power

Essential for:

  • Explosive take-off

  • Elevation in the air

  • Fast acceleration and contest-winning bursts

We utilise controlled plyometrics, landing mechanics, and jump development.

✔ Agility & Footwork

Netball demands rapid direction changes and quick decision-making.
We focus on:

  • High-speed footwork

  • Change of direction

  • Recovery speed

  • Reactive movement drills

✔ Injury Reduction

Through strength balance, landing control, and proper mechanics.


3. Who It's For

  • Athletes aged 11–18

  • Club, development, representative and performance-level players

  • Athletes wanting to increase speed, strength, stability, and confidence

  • Players preparing for trials, academy programs, or a full season

  • Weekly (or twice-weekly) structured sessions

  • Progression-based programming

  • Movement profiling

  • Technique coaching
